Occupational therapy assistants, under the direction of an occupational therapist, work collaboratively with their clients to progress towards their goals and to meet their needs. Services may include:

• Treatment techniques
• Education in daily activity and community life skills
• Prescription for specialized equipment
• Home evaluation
