Description

Provided Online

Our Peer Support service provides the opportunity for anyone – individual, family member, or professional – to speak with someone with lived experiences of mental health or substance use concerns. By engaging with our Peer Support Workers, you can make a connection with someone with lived experience, increase your sense of engagement and belonging, and move through your mental health or substance use recovery journey to develop skills and build resiliency.

Peer Support is a compliment to traditional counselling and provides value and support in a distinctly different way than services provided by clinicians. CMHA Calgary’s Peer Support services is here to help provide that added value when individuals might be waiting to speak to a counsellor.
