We are able to offer 10 sessions of one-on-one counselling with the person with a disability in support of various issues including trauma, grief and loss, life transition, relationship concerns, family stress, diverse identities (i.e., sexual, gender, cultural, racial, ability, age), mental illness, substance use, and a variety of other concerns. Your appointment will be an intake with a counsellor or practicum student for you to join a waitlist. If we are not a suitable service given the concerns, we will provide recommendations for other supportive resources. Population Served: Youth (aged 16 and up), adults, and seniors with disabilities.   • 16+ years
  • Living with a disability which can include a condition that is permanent, degenerative, and/or temporary that limits or alters your abilities (e.g., intellectual/developmental disability, chronic/ terminal illness, severe mental illness, acquired brain injury, etc.).

First session is free. Subsequent sessions are based on an affordable fee model (i.e., pay what is affordable based on your own assessment) up to $200.
