Description
Youth Fair Gains will teach you how to save and manage your money during 2-hour workshops, twice a month, for 6 months. Momentum will match the money you save 3:1, which you can spend on tuition, textbooks, a laptop for school, tools for work, RESP, RDSP, or starting your own business. If you save the maximum $50/month for 6 months, you will have $300 of your own funds and $900 of Momentum’s funds. That’s a combined savings of $1,200 towards your future! There is also a $50 attendance bonus for those who miss fewer than 2 classes all year and an additional $25 bonus for perfect attendance! • Youth Fair Gains requires participants to commit to 2, in person group sessions a month for 6 months. We will meet on Friday's for approx. 2 hours. Program starts October 16th and ends March 12, 2027. • After you complete the program, you have nine months to cash out your money (with the help of your facilitator)– for education for yourself or baby, tools for school or work, or starting a business. • Childcare and snacks will be provided. NOTE: A Kindred staff member will be reaching out to you to confirm registration request and to collect and provide further programming information.

o 6 people = $89,178.00
o 7 or more = $99,286.80 - Client has the ability to save at least $15 a month
- Client has a permanent Social Insurance Number
- I confirm that neither I, nor anyone in my household, has completed a matched savings program before
