Provides nutritious, hot & frozen meals delivered to the home by caring volunteers for residents within the Quinte West community. We provide meals to seniors, persons recovering from illness and surgery, persons with disabilities, or those who aren’t able to do their own grocery shopping and/or cook for themselves. Hot Meals are prepared by a local caterer and are delivered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays between 11:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Clients receive a monthly menu listing the meals available for each day; if they do not like the meal being offered that day they can choose to order a soup and sandwich as an alternative. Delivery service allows us to provide both nutrition and a safety check at the client’s doorstep.
